Yeah its a baby fig

today when I unwrapped my Deanna fig cuttings to inspect for roots, I found one that had a baby fig, the barest begining of a leaf and  not a root in sight.  There was another that had a fig and a tiny budding leaf beside it and a teeny tiny root.  The third one was still napping.  I hope that having my first baby means that I am not a DUFF.  Designated Urban Fig Failure.  Keep the growing tips coming.   Joyce

I find that i have roots in 14 days but i allways get leafing and small branches. I root in trays in the dark but still get buds and leaves. No figs though

I root in moss or coir in plastic barkery trays that food comes in wrt with vitamino. After using vitamino i had much faster rooting. What your method

i use a wet paper towel. zip lock bag. and wrap bag in bubble wrap.  I store in my mini green house in dish pan with other cuttings and a reptile light.   My other cuttings are producing roots and leaves  normally.  Thanks for the hint on vitamino.  I will get some Friday when I go to the old fashioned seed store.   I got some double bricks of coir at petsmart for 4.95 and will use members rooting ideas in plastic cups with perlite and coir mix.

What you said. Petsmart??????? Coir

PetSupermarket store.  It was back near the reptile stuff.
