Yearly Consistent Goodness From ,,,,,

These variants produced consistent volume & all round goodness especially taste for me over the years are

Desert King
Dark Portuguese(main crop) -- pot culture
Hardy Chicago(main crop)    -- pot culture
Rosetta(main crop)  -- pot culture
Longue d'Aout(main crop)

What's yours ?

Most of my trees are 3 feet and under but I have about a dozen that are good size.  Of course I like the Black Mission, my first Love. The Panache has been consistent and has that berry flavor. The Kadota a standard is always a good change of flavor. Will be lookin to purchase a Chicago Hardy, been hearing good compliments consistently.  Our Summer temps gets to hover around 100 degrees and dry (no humidity).

Paradiso Gene. 10 gal container. last yr was 3rd yr it was putting on the fig and it was amazing, even with all that rain. VdB doesn't perform in rain. Kathleen's Black, i think will be as good if not better than Paradiso Gene this yr. all others are too young to say if they are good consistently.

Vista Mission now, because the other good ones need root-pruning which I have never done in many years and these other good ones seem to be rightfully unhappy with me.

So, I may have to root prune many plants even if the plants leaf buds have opened because there may be more benefit than harm doing it in early growth mode.

Vista, Celeste, Black Mission always produce.

Colisanti Dark.  It's not my top tasting fig but consistently has good taste, production and growth.  Makes a pretty good jam.

Hopefully I can add 6 more very tasty ones to my list. These 6 to watch are :

Ginoso
RdB
Granthams Royal
Dauphine
Petite Aubique
Yugo Yellow
