Yellow Figs in Northern Syria

Here's a video of some trees in north Syria near the Turkish border in a place called Afrin (عفرين).  Just listen to the crackle of how dry those leaves are.  They're yellow figs, but no hint as to the variety is given in the description.  I'd love to have an orchard like that.

And look at this monster tree growing out from under a house in Ein Kerem, Israel.  If you really want to pursue your fig passion move to Israel, Lebanon, Syria, or Turkey!

Nice, where are you located currently?

I live in Maryland right now.  Right on the border of where you can grow figs without winter protection.

i'm growing one called Quadsaya Big Yellow Syrian. just rooted this winter. no idea what it looks like.
