Looks great! Great start!
Nice roots Keith, I think you have it down. Good luck and good growing.

They do root like crazy!! The ones I put in the bubbler have more roots than others that have been in there a month...

I got some of these from Aaron, and it may be one of the most vigorous rooters I have seen. It will be interesting to see what the figs are like. Mike in Hanover, VA
Like others have said these things want to grow. Very nice vigor. Fast roots and growth is really taking off as well. I started 4 of these with 74 other cuttings. 60 havent done anything yet that I can see yet these 4 are rooted out the bottom of the 3x3 tree pots and already out of the humidity chamber. I wish everything grew this fast. Also no signs of FMV.
Pity on us who live outside the States :(
These were started on 3/17. One other has just come out of the humidity chamber and 2 others I gave to a friend and they are doing just as well.
That' crazy.
I have figs growing on my first year plant. The plant is in a 3 gallon pot.
Here are some pictures.
I got to taste a couple of the Greek yellows recently. For the first year plants the figs were decent. Not too sweet by very jammy and creamy.
Does anyone still have cuttings of this fig? How well did it grow for you? I lost all my figs this winter, and am trying to find varieties hardy enough to survive zone 6 in Michigan in ground.
I winterized my trees in the garage, but moved the trees early April. The last couple of frost we had froze all the new sprouts and young leaves. They are sprouting again. May be the tree develops tolerance to cold as they age.
anyone may share this variety to Canadian fig friends some time?. :)
