Yikes Really nasty storm just rolled through

About 5 minutes ago a really nasty storm came through.  Thunder, lightning, hail ect.  Here's hoping my outdoor potted fig is ok and the limes are still on my lime tree.  Still too much lightning to risk going out to put them under the shelter.

Your fig and lime are replaceable Sharon. You are not. Stay in and safe, it'll pass.

Hope it all went through OK for you.  We had torrential rains, very local, in SE PA yesterday.  The hail storms this year have been very strong and unusual - even golf ball sized hail in France earlier this week!

Mostly ok but destroyed my shade house.  Tossed the lawn chairs around.  Knocked over a bunch of orchids over and ended up with a few tag-less plants and plant-less tags which will have to be resolved.  Another storm pass through right now.

It hit Atlanta, too. It wasn't raining when I got home from work yesterday, by the time I got to the other side of the yard it was sprinkling, and no sooner do I make it back into the carport than it turns into a torrential downpour. Two up-pots later, pea-size+ hail starts. The wind made it very difficult to keep my wax melted in order to seal my new cuttings!

We had rain and big wind here in W. PA, a tornado was reported about 20 mi away from me. When I got home from work about half of my young potted figs were blown over but without evident damage.
