Nice looking figs Paul!  Hear you guys are having a nice hot summer this year?

I have Yugoslavian Black Huge starting to swell now hope we get some sunny weather so it ripens nicely like yours.

Pino.... Not sure if I had asked this question previously in another thread and I don't remember the answer but would you know what is the difference between Yugoslavian Black Huge and Yugoslavian Black? For that matter, is there any difference between these and the Petrovacka Black?

Thanks,
Tony

I guess while at it, I might as well ask if there is a difference between Yugoslav Yellow and Serbian Yellow. There is also another variety called Serbian Beauty.... Anyone know if this variety aligns with any of the other figs known to originate from that region?

Hi Tony
Sorry I don't know the story behind this fig.  I got it from a f4F member who go it from Dusan and thus the reason for my post maybe to jar Paul and see if he knows any more about Dusan's figs.  Dusan was af4f member long time ago.

My tree is healthy and has been productive here is a link with main crop photos and will have some breba photos shortly.

Dusan said this fig came from a village in "then" Yugoslavia. He told me it is an excellent tasting variant & productive.
It was send as a plant together with Yugoslavia Black aka Sumadija Dusan. This is a big black fig with a nice flavour. I
don't have this variant anymore as it has a higher tendency to split in my Pacific Northwest weather.

Thank you, Pino and Paul!

Nice crop of figs. Looks rich tasting.
