Zingarella 2015 main

It is a young plant rooted past Fall, in a 2 gal pot .
Looks good, hopefully will taste it, need to hide well from the critters.

Looking good. You waiting to pick it still?

Yeap! I am afraid to ruin the perfect fig!! Lol

Hi greenfig,
You guys kill me. It takes me generally 3 years to get figs out of a new fig tree.
Load the gun, critters may already be watching you :(.

3 years??? I can barely wait for one summer. The fig tree I s gone in the Fall if I do not see the fruit. The only one I was waiting for was a Kathleen's Black, and I am still not sure if it was a good decision since the squirrel stole the only prized fig this year :)
But that's how we do in the SoCal ! We are spoiled here...

Oh, it is the time to get a new round of ammunition, gotta go !

Here it is!
100% awesome and 150% not enough :). But there is more to ripe.
Very juicy and jammie, hmmm.

9/10 easily
