Zone 4

I live in zone 4 so I am accustomed to providing winter protection.  I'm looking for varieties that are north hardy and can bear in the short summer time here.
I currently have ten varieties but am always looking.

Hi Pasquale:Very Interesting ,that you have 10 varieties.
I know in zone 4 The heat units are very low for ripening fig fruits.
I would like to Know if you got ripe fruits, the natural way, outside in the sun,and not using a greenhouse to lenghten the season.
and if so wich varieties, got ripe,if you can name or describe it?
Thanks anticipated, for answering to this one!

Ciao Pasquale,  what varieties do you have, very curious especially in a rather cool climate.  Ciao, Maggie

Pasquale,
I think a number of us are interested in hearing what varieties you have that are successful in a short(er) season.  I know I am.  Hope to hear from you soon :-)

Zone5 can't wait for the answer either. If it is good for Zone 4 then it is good for Zone 5. The suspense is building up. I had only one ripe fig for consumption before the frost came.

Pasquale,  dove e voi?

Pasquale:Where are you?
Pasquale Unde esti tu?
