You lived in Korea. nice to meet..

I live in the southern part of Korea.

I am not a farmer. I want to grow figs as a hobby.

So the taste takes precedence.

I have a glass greenhouse on the roof. But I want to plant it on the ground.

That's some specific weather data my friend....Based on your temperatures and assuming you have decent humidity, I think you have a many options..... If I were you I would get as many types of recommended figs as I could and see what you end up enjoying the most....If space is limited... Perhaps go with some of the better known cultivars....

Based on my limited knowledge of your climate from a friend born in Seoul I would guess that any of the varieties that do well in the US Pacific North West might also do well for you.... Desert King, Dalmatie, Neveralla, Green Ischia, Longue d'Aout, Black Mission, Brown Turkey and White Marseilles may all be good options for you....

This is only my opinion..... But the one thing I can say with some confidence...You're going to need to start growing something to really know what is best for you... Nobody can tell you what will be the most delicious fig for you, in your climate.

I hope you stay connected on this forum and share your experiences...

Welcome!

hi. friend.

thank you for your good feedback.
I am looking at the order list of mgginva.

Thank you again.

You live in slightly cool summer area, just like us in PNW, In our cool summer plus weak sun power area, many figs won't rippen or not sweet.
However, you are in South Korea, where has strong solar power and lots of sun lights as much as Italian , no wonder many people buy solar panels from electronic store in Korea and Korea persimmons are big and super sweet.

Anyway, I suggest that you buy inexpensive cuttings from this seller in our area, all his cuttings are good for cool summer area and easy to get good results.
