USDA / UC Davis pix No.5 The goal of this trip was to photograph as many of the cultivars as possible. Some were earlier season figs, and no longer available, and some later season figs, not yet ripe. However, the vast majority were available. Unless otherwise noted, these were of acceptable flavor, worth growing, but not necessarily exceptional. Zidi These were beautiful, but I was unable to find one that wasn't already spoiled. Dauphine These wewre mostly spoiled, as well (first cut picture). The second cut picture was OK, but not a good as I had expected.
