Hi,
is anyone familar with socalnursery , a nursery located in California and currently selling fig plants and other nursery items on ebay under that name from their nursery.

I found one of their listings today. I have a hunch I know what the deal is on these trees. They were selling last year under a different name (I am reasonably sure as the listings were the same), without a nursery license (required to sell plants originating in CA - even on ebay) and using my pictures. I had to get Ebay to remove the listings, and then they returned with other peoples pix.

I suspect that I know the source of the trees, though I can't prove it. Last year they had unique and/or mispelled names, and I knew where I had seen the names in the past.

They aree still using other people's pix, so no way of knowing waht is really for sale. When they were using my pix, they were using nice pix that had no relationship to the variety they were selling.
