I am in love.
Pretty cool here (I now, I know - but for us, it was) and pretty much all figs tasted poorly or worse. This one, however, was fabulous - sweet, tasty, everything you want in a fig, and it is late October. Even Black Madeira did not taste this good, today (had 1-1/2 today, #5 and #6 for the season if you are counting).

I had a (plain - UCD) Dauphine for a quite while ... it still needs to give me a single fig! Will wait one more year, else it is history.

Not the same as Dauphine from UC, which has definitely fruited here, and is a nice fig.
