This didn't make the radar last season when it had its first couple fruit, but it has had a meteoric rise this season. Pratt Purple from Belleclare. Eerily reminiscent of Brown Turkey MD. A definite attention getter this season.

Am I dreaming or did Jon compare this winner to a B/T? Is this correct? Please explain. Jon? B/T? BTW, Great looking fig pic Jon. I've yet to taste one this season.

Rafed, You are not dreaming. Nightmarish brain fade, maybe. The "MD" is the important part. It is not a BT but was supposed to be. I have renamed it Maryland Berry . Best to stay on your meds. ;-))

I can't believe I forgot to add this to my "top 6" wanted trees list. I had to go back and edit my wish list ;)
Is it possible that Pratt Purple is the same as Popp's Purple ?
