A guy in the suburbs here sells Alpaca manure (like Ilama) at reasonable price. I read about it (googling 'Alpaca manure' ) and found that it can even be used fresh unlike horse manure because Alpaca (& Ilama) have different digestive system. I read only good things about it for other plants.
My question is if anyone has tried it for figs and knows any drawbacks. Thanks.

Ottawan -- if it is not composted, stay away from it. I tried using horse manure once and I ended up with grass & weeds.
