In Italy Genovese Bianco is a synonym for Brogiotto Bianco.
Has anyone ever compared the above mentioned to Brogiotto Nero?

They both look like nice figs!
I have an unknown fig that an Italian friend gave me that looks very similar to these.
He got rid of his mt. etna types and kept this one as his main in-ground black fig.

Hi Aaron4usa,
Without a view with figs split open - impossible to tell.
Your pic for Black genoa looks like my genuine Brownturkey .
Is that a true pic for Black genoa ?

Blk Genoa have been widely acknowledge as BT or a strain of BT. Also, Genovese Nero holds up pretty good to rain. I got a Blk Genoa in Melbourne, Australia for my brother and it is not the same.

jd,
what does your BG look like? The picture I used , as I mentioned above, is from internet. Not sure if it's a true BG pic, should be...

The photos I have seen of Genovese Nero have that distinct fig leaf pattern with 3 the lobes.
Is there a type of fig associated with the 3 lobe leaves?

ok I'm confused here.

Are you guys saying Black Genoa is Brown Turkey?

BTW...provided the pics in #1 post (if they are correct ) , I am seeing huge difference at the NECK...GN has one and it's pretty thick and long and almost No stalk. where in BG there is no neck and there is a stalk.
The names... Black Genoa v's Genovese Nero, same words , just switched around. ugh...
