Well, it's been pretty chilly. High today in the 40's I think. So it's getting near the end. Still, I picked 8 more figs today. And meanwhile, I'm way behind on uploading photos of this year's crop from September and October. But despite the cold weather here, today's bunch were excellent. Had them for dessert. Here's a picture of some of them... starting from 3 o'clock position (and the center), and moving clockwise: - Salem White (sweet honey taste, good texture) - Conadria (I like this kind) - Gino's Black (a bit underripe) - Aubique Petite (excellent jammy berry taste) - Ronde De Bordeaux (sweet berry taste, another favorite) Here's the picture: Here are a couple of pictures from earlier in the month. I didn't really need any reminders of how good Peter's Honey can be, but here are a few pics of that variety... an excellent honey fig. Mike central NY state, zone 5a

My tree is in second year. One breba is hanging and hopefully will have main crop to try as well. Your picture show waiting for this variety is worthwhile. Thanks for sharing with us Mike.
