Hi All,

I had the pleasure of meeting another forum member today.  It's Fernando and is he ever crazy about figs.  It was a good visit and I'm looking forward to seeing his fig trees and other fruit trees as well.

It's so nice to have people who live nearby, as well as across Louisiana.

Happy figging,

noss

Meeting other forum members is one of the real pleasures of participating on this site.

Glenda and I were fortunate enough to visit Drew (thisisme) and his family  earlier this week.   He gave us a tour of his garden, provided us with lunch, and allowed us to help out a bit with some ground prep for future plantings.   Drew has  approximatly 30 different cultivars of figs alone.  We left with lots of ideas and were blessed with no less than 7 fig trees, two tomato plants, and a HUGE loaf of his delecious homade zuchinni bread.

Thanks, Drew.  We had a great time.
