Does anyone else grow this fig. I was going to add this fig to the latest fad topic because it seems to have become a fig your looking forward to topic. I've had Negronne last year that were perfectly ripe and great.. I've had some Ischia Black that were sweet and raspberry jam like at the eye and different figs in between but when I had these 160-50s my eyes opened up and inside my head I said mmmm, that's different. I just remember that it had a unique flavor in a good way that was different from the rest. The memory has faded so I can't quite place it but I'm looking forward to tasting them again. I discovered this year that they have brebas too but don't know of any info on the quality of brebas from this variety.

Sorry about that. I did talk about this fig last year when I had my first fig. I was trying to find where someone commented about the flavor. I seem to remember someone saying it had a spice note to it or like cinnamon or something? Can't find it, and can't recall. It's a nice looking fig too with that bronze color.
