Anyone who posts those mouth watering photos this time of year should be punished by having to send at least 5 figs to each forum member. ;-))

Nice! I bought the same black mission figs a few weeks ago and, while finishing the crunchy figs, decided to germinate them.
I have 3 seedlings now! I will take a photo tomorrow morning and post it, they are outside since the very beginning, in a seedling tray.

Apart from all other considerations this is a very HEALTHY morning start!
Done in a regular basis, one's digestive gear works perfect without absolutely any drugs.
Do it slightly different, but the results are the same.
It was very popular in the countryside all over both Mediterranean banks to have one or two dry figs smeared with olive oil every morning before breakfast.

The Trader Joe's near me only has ancient dry figs.  Yours look much better.
