Nice photos, good luck with the plant.
I'm going to pass on BM, and stick with varieties that are confirmed NJ good growers.
You certainly have a green thumb and now an expert photographer lol.

it seems NC is good for the figs, at least where i am. BM is doing lot better than i expected. if they survive the winter, i should have 4 BM.. 3 that i rooted from 1 cutting from UCD. and one which i'll be air layering in the spring.

yupe.. and i waited 3 yrs for figs on Kathleen's Black. from UCD cuttings, i have figs on Black Madeira, Ischia White, and Calvert. they are all 3 month old cuttings. i'm knocking them off since they are so young, but it give me hope that i'll get to taste them next year.
