Here are a few figs picked before the rain Sal's Gene, Gino's, Longue D'Aout, and Atreano. All were delicious.

Jason,

Was the Longue D'Aout fully ripe?
If so, what did you think about it?

I think this fig is awesome!

They look great Jason. I grow 3 of the 4 above, but haven't tasted any yet. Did you prefer one over the other?

Rafed, it was very good for the amount of rain we had recently. A definite winner! I thought Atreanos were big but LDAs are HUGE.

Barry- it was my first year with all but Atreano which is a great white fig. Sal's Gene was like HC. Gino's also similiar but tasted slightly different to me also more productive. LDA was my favorite of this batch.
1 LDA
2 Atreano
3 Gino's
4 Sals

Thanks, Jason. LDA seems to edge out a lot. My tree is still very young. I also have a young Atreano and Gino's. I think I'll get a taste next year, maybe all 3

You will. They all grow like weeds. I don't think you'll miss not having a Sals Gene if you have a HC of some sort.
