How long does it take for a response from UCD?

I sent my request in on Aug 7, 2012 for cuttings.

I sent mine in May, and got my confirmation a month ago.  It takes time.

I wouldn't sit by the PC or stand by the mailbox. You're dealing with the government. If you sent it, they got it. You may not get a response.

Give it some time, yet, and then ask.

They DO lose or not receive orders, for whatever reason. Been there, done that.

forget about it. don't even think about UCD order.. then like magic, the order will appear on your doorstep sometime between march-april next year. oh.. just make sure to send them an email and confirm your order. but if you forget about it like i did last year, it will be a happy day when it shows up. if it doesn't.. you forgot about it already :)

Ordered in June. Confirmed 2 weeks ago after I had already told myself I didn't need these 10 varieties. I'm with Pete on this one! Forget about it. Then you can't go wrong, just as long as you get them your Fed Ex account number.

Sorry to hijack, but, having placed my UC Davis order, does anyone have an idea of what the FedEx charges normally amount to?

Have I committed to $100 in shipping costs or closer to $30?  Just looking for some range (although I'm not planning on getting sticker shock and cancelling).

Thanks.

Make sure you specify FedEx Ground or UPS Ground. Otherwise their default position is overnight. That costs too much and just isn't necessary.
