Despite the bad weather,rain and temps in the mid 40s,i have few varieties still ripening beautiful figs.

Peter,it's hard to say. #1 is the Black Madeira,#2 is another...40 varieties...

It does well here Newnandawg, at least in north GA. Will split in heavy rains, but it still tastes very good. This late, the birds seem to have forgotten that fruit can ripen. Still have a couple on, but most are gone now.

I wish I had eat-avision they look so good!  How late in the season have you picked before?

I am hoping mine will ripen into Nov.  I'll start checking next weekend.
