I was wondering if anyone was growing excel in a cooler climate like zone 6. if so how has it been doing?

It was good in 2010 with a long warm summer and did badly in 2011 and 2012 from rain and cold, planted in the ground it is moderately hardy.

After three or four years,growing Excel in a 18 gal pot,i finaly decided last year to send it in fig heaven...very late cultivar,not suitable for the northeast region.
