If this is your fig, post photos of the leaves and the cut fig next to a quarter.  THEN we might help you.

It looks heavily modified.  Do you have an original picture?  A brown turkey can look very appealing with some contrast adjustments.

Sorry Kenny I couldn't help it. I don't think it is that heavily altered and they do look like the palmata hybrid figs. Just run a Google search and look at the images.

Yep, Turkish variety. the bluish tinge is due to lighting and it is a layer of dust or something that goes off when you wash it. I olnly was able to taste export quality which had some acidity and slight flavors only it was not good Because not ripe.

That image is a generic one posted many, many times in different places on the internet.  it's heavily photoshopped so hard to discern variety.

The hybrid Carica x Palmata, code named DFIC0023, which seems to be the fruit on the pictures shown above, was described in this post from last year..

http://figs4funforum.websitetoolbox.com/post/dfic0023-carica-x-palmata-7001021?highlight=dfic0023&pid=1283631485#post1283631485

It's a very robust and fast growing plant quickly filling their branches with lots of figs.
Occasionally it may ripe a few brebas.
The fig starts ripening in late July (in my climate) and is very tasty. Unfortunately it needs to be pollinated by the fig wasp.

I am growing DFIC0023 but my original thought was that this is a Bursa fig or possibly Zidi.

This image posted by Kenny has been shown on the Internet numerous times and I am unable to locate it's original use.  One of the earliest uses I was able to find was posted on an Arabic language forum in June 2013 which seems to be a more accurate copy of the original photo: http://forums.fatakat.com/thread4493866

But, as I understand it from USDA last weekend, they will no longer fill orders for non-institutions.  Seem my thread about that. :(
