I knew there was something fishy here!  :)   I hope mine survives the winter and fruits this year  :)  Thanks for providing it, Jon.  A fig by any other name is just as sweet!

I agree Bob.  Whatever Jon calls it, it looks great.  I'm still growing this one out, hoping to find it's a common fig and will make tasty figs here.  Too soon to tell though.  Has anyone else in a land-without-fig-wasps gotten this one to ripen any figs yet?

When I first tasted this fig I did not recognize a peach flavor but they noticed it as somewhat of a canned peach flavor.  IMHO.

I am going to try this out here in the midwest, see whether I get ripe figs or not in a couple years.
