I have 6 Belleclare fig trees:

Atreano
Genoa
Pop's Purple Red
Italian Everbearing
Vern's Brown Turkey
Vern's (or Sal's) Sicilian (the marker wore off the tree and I can't remember for sure)

All of these trees were purchased by me at the Nursery in the Spring of 2004 or 2005.
I still have all of the original mother trees that I purchased.

Very nice Trif and thanks for the wonderful pictures.

Since you purchased them directly if you had purchased #93 Fico Nera Napolitano-A popular Napolitano fig from Naples also called Fico Piccolino. Small to
medium, purple/black, blood red center - i would have made you an offer for airlayer hard to refuse  ; )

Wow, beautiful and rare collection, trif, thank you for sharing!  Those are a LOT of figs you have on your driveway, are they from cuttings of your original 6 mother trees?  They all look exceptiionally healthy and vigorous.

Art- It's hard to pick a favorite. They are all so unique and different in their own way. I've got a good range of flavor, shape size and color that I never get tired of.

Patty- Yes, some are cuttings from my original trees, some are original trees and the balance are varieties that I purchased from Rob & Sybil at Paradise Fig Tree Nursery before they retired (I'll start another threat to show you those), and some trees from Italy that were brought back as cuttings.

Thanks, the sooner we have a wide variety of leaves and fruits, the more organized we can be in selecting what works, and how to enjoy it.  (And have subforums for best dried figs!  Or something)

Especially desired figs: UCD 187-25, UCD 200-48, UCD 157-17, UCD 309-B1, Princesa, Black Madeira, high quality sugar fig that ripens Sept-Oct.

Probable desired fig: Smith, St Jean, JH Adriatic, CddB, Gulbun, Pastilliere, Sucrette

Rooting:  Smith, CDDB--this pretty much means I have my fun tries (tho' important since they are truly desirable), and only interested for this year: Gulbun, BM, 187-25, or something wildly exotic or precious that nobody has any good reason to send me.
