Nice tour, looks like you have been bitten by the fruit bug too.  Impressively green.

BTW your Calderwoods are fantastic growers, thanks!

Really enjoyed your video. Your back yard has everything you need. Your living off your backyard. No buying fruit at the store.
My QUESTION is what happens when it rains ? Does it flood you trays & pools. If so do you just let the water get used up ? Do you have to change water out? Thanks for your time making the video

Thanks figpig! I have drain plugs with overflow tubes in the bottom of the flood beds that go from 1-4" vertically to control how much they will fill up(google flood and drain overflow valves).
I just set up the pools temporarily since were not getting much rain lately.

I usually let the trees drink for about 12-24 hrs and release anything left after a day. I usually fill them up to about 1-1/2" on the 1 gallon pots.  Search the Kratky hydroponic method to see how temporarily submerging roots partially is not the same as fully submerging roots in terms of oxygenation and nutrient uptake.
