My only in ground tree is this Celeste which is a three year old. It already has over a foot of new growth on some limbs.

In my climate Celeste grows the same way,but drops about half of the fruits ,the first part of the main crop.

That looks like a very happy fig tree! That sucker coming up on the left may be a good candidate for an air layer, if you ever get the urge.
