While out riding the bikes in the forest logging roads today I made a harvest of pine needle compost, pine bark from the logging operation and some moss that I have used for rooting cuttings.
I'll mix the pine needle compost, sifted pine bark, a generous helping of dolomitic limestone and some purchased sheep manure and see what happens.
The dolomitic limestone resembles the grittyness of sand.
