been raining on and off since sunday.. and they are calling for low of high 40 next few days. and it looks like june will bring more rain.

the trees are just starting to put on the figs. not even pea size yet. hope it stops raining for few weeks in late july and early aug when the figs will be swelling.. i'm already tired of rain. this whole late winter and spring has been nothing but rain rain rain.. i wouldn't mind rain maybe once a week.. or even twice.. but 3, 4, 5 times a week? it's just ridiculous. outside is so humid that my cuttings just out of bin has better chance of staying alive then in my humidity bin.

You could send a little my way.  No rain here in the past three months.  Zip, nutting, nada.

dave,

if i could i would. few weeks without rain would be nice. i know other locations are lacking rain right now.. too bad we can control the weather. that would be a neat trick.

Strange, I was just thinking today the rain here in Houtson has been just about right.  A major thunderstorm every week.  Seems like after every storm, the figs put on a spurt of growth and look more dark green, almost like they have been fertilized well.
