My very prolific gals who love to give out are getting shorn.
It would be a shame to throw all that good wood out so I am offering 3 cuttings (most will be nice and thick) for a small postage and handling fee.
Last year I had a similar offer resulting in many, many responses and it was a full time job getting them out.
Most of you will already have alma, so this offer is mostly for the newbies.
As a bonus I will thow in an Atreano or 2.
$5 paypal fmen at yahoo.com  (at=@) should do it. Please do not IM me as inbox is nearly full.

Email me your address, paypal me and I'll get the scissors out.

Edit: Lower 48 states only.

Great offer!  People when someone wants such a small amount of money, please send it as a gift or transfer and pay the fees for them.  If some of these get lost in the mail it will end up costing Frank what could add up to a lot of money.  I've been in that spot.  Paying the fees is a way of returning the generosity of the person providing the cuttings.  It encourages us to do it more often  :)

Thank you, Bob, for your supportive words.

In just a few hours there have been quite a number of emails. I will honor each and every one of them except for foreign requests.

I should have qualified, the offer to be for the mainland States only. I cannot and will not send cuttings out of the country. Payments from outside the US will be returned.

Thanks, everyone.

Btw, I am not referring to Ong, who has a US address.

After you log into your PayPal account, click the "Send Money" tab near the top of the screen.

It will ask you for the email address of the person you wish to send money to and the amount you wish to send.  His email address is fmen at yahoo.com (replace the "_at_" with "@").

Easy as rooting a fig :)

Frank, just curious, how old are the twins and how many pounds are there in your freezer? It looks like an awful lot.

The twins are mere adolescents but very promiscuous as evidenced by their many progeny - 20 + one gallon bags per season. I have not weighed them.

Don't worry about running out of cuttings as I will be giving the gals a buzz cut.

Once I receive the last request from you all, I plan on auctioning the rest off on ebay hoping to make a little fig money.

Email sent. So happy to see your kind offer, Frank. I'd seen your Alma Sisters pics before: lovely and memorable couple of ladies you've got there. And after a week of being bahumbuggered by a series of ebay auctions, your offer is good medicine.

Thanks and happy holidays!

I know that it has already been said but everyone here should be really appreciative of what Frank and many others on this forum do sharing what they have. I hope that as my trees get larger I can pass one what I have generously received from Frank and others.

Thanks to ALL that share!

Frank, that is very interesting how you have the Alma's in the patio of your pool. I imagine it keeps the roots warm, and that you have to water them with such small open space. They are really beautiful. Does this bring bees in around the pool? I have a vgorous Alma that has very small figs forming, I haven't tasted it yet. How would you describe the taste?
