I made 10  LaRadek grafts on BT root stock I started last year,I also started 4 cuttings, but I think one cutting is dead. Does anyone graft hard to find cuttings as back up.I had 3 smith cuttings last year,I took one bud and grafted it. The graft is doing fine the cuttings all died. Rex.

I had the same story with the O'Rourke. The grafts are doing fine, the cuttings all perished.

Have you posted before about what grafting technique you are using ?
Sounds like great results you are getting.

Yes, Rex. I've done this a number of times. Planning to do more this year. Has really saved me a time or two. Especially on some that are hard to get.
