I was leaving town last week and had to cover my in ground figs because it was supposed to get to the high teens, low 20's while I was gone.  Trees were JUST dropping thier leaves, had to knock he last few off, and when I trimmed some branches they still oozed a bit of latex.  I put these in the fridge as I have promised people cuttings from these trees.
Question, are these still viable even though they were not fully dormant or should I wait and cut new when I unwrap for the spring.  Would hate to waste these but would hate to send cuttings that wont perform either.
Advice?

Greg,

About two weeks ago a guy sent me cuttings from an unknown in the Bronx.  It was his family's tree and had been there for 50 years and he was trying to save it before the house sold and who knows what happened to the tree.  He asked (on Gardenweb) for someone to root the fig for him, grow it then return a potted plant to him so he could keep it, I volunteered. When the cuttings arrived they were kind of green brown and you could see where he had cut each leaf off.  It worried me a bit but......they rooted just fine......will get cupped tomorrow so think yours will be ok.

I agree with Wills, don't worry.
I just hope you put it in the regular refrigerator and not in the freezer
