2- update: I still have a few more cuttings available.

1- UPDATEl Thanks to everyone who responded to my posting. I am overwelmed with the response and have a lot of packages to prepare. I modified the posting subj. line as I don't think I can committ to more, however, after I process the ones I am committed, I will update the post for others who may have missed and wanted.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My fig, which is still unknown, but with good possibility to be a Dauphine or a Vern Brown Turkey. I have never tasted these two, so I cannot say for sure what my fig is...all I know it is super delicious and prolific. Tree was not pruned properly for several years, but since I learned how to  fix it, it has produced an amazing load of figs. Over 300 figs this season, with main crop also ripening, even to this day, although we have very cold nights.

As you all know, Seattle is not a good land for heat loving plants, my fig is very special!

Should you wish to get cuttings, please send me PM.

All I am asking is for the postage ( would also trade for red, pink, white currants, fall gold and/or purple raspberry, or kiwi starters, or other exotic fruit)

pictures of the fig here:

That is a fantastic offer!  Unfortunately, unless you can send a bigger lot along with the fig, I'm not sure I have any space left! :D

I know the feeling. I say I have to plant one as a hat, and carry it on my head... Ineed to learn how to train them upwards, against fences, making fences, under one another. With permaculture reading, I learned to put my raspberries under my fig tree and they did extremely well there. so, I will try merging other plants with my fig trees as they grow and need more room. I just cleared my alley, behind my garage. i willput some there, but they will only get the afternoon sun, not sure what they will do, but black berries grow there, so they better figure out how to do it too.

Hi Grasa,

I received the cuttings the other day. And at least two have already rooted.
Looking forward to many purple figs in the future.

Thanks again,

Grasa- one of the few places in the country more cloudy than Seattle is Fort Wayne Indiana. We are in the 20s as well. So excited to test this variety here!
