Tree grown in partial shade and never had figs abort as per other reports. Likely a different Melanzana strain. Also, this fig is productive and every season I do get a good harvest of main crop figs. Fig in picture is a ripe Breba. Good taste and a keeper. 2nd picture - almost all branches have main crop figs like in picture. Tree came to me from Prof Bostock and he got it from Adriano

Nice looking tree. My Melanzana dropped all of it's breba. I hope the main hang in there.

Art, you are making out better than me, my melanzana just plain dropped, if I hear good reports I might try another next year.
