Saw this on a small plant that I rooted over the winter. Looks like the eye end of this little figlet blew open. What is this? Guess this little fig is confused that he is supposed to be an inverted flower.

it's a true flower now! LOL Same thing had happened to Andy, with his FrankenFig Tree. Interesting phenomenon.

I'm not knowledgable enough to comment on it any further, but from what I heard, it doesn't have any significant meaning. Sometimes people see them in random fig trees.
