This has to be one of the best BIG figs out there. My wife and I really enjoyed it. It was sweet and juicy.
We gave it a 7 out of 10. Really good for a breba.

Art,

this is one huge Breba omg!

Fantastic, i love the look of L'd A in general, but this is outstanding.

The fig is big like you are living in Turkey or something and not in a northern climate!

what are you feeding this tree? OMG that is an awesome looking fig!  I had no luck rooting this kind, but my hero Slavi did and he said this is a great fig to have.

Wow!  My in ground LdA is the strongest grower of the bunch.  I 'think' fig embryos are forming, which would be such a treat, as I've never tasted it.

Art,

You cheapened that fig by laying it on the 20 break out the 100

Wow! With figs that size you wouldn't need too many to make a fig pizza!

Hi Kubota1,
Nice figs !
My lda figtree decided on her own to not make brebas this year, although she'd got no winter damage.
two or three weeks ago, a dozen figlets appeared ... Let's hope she will raise them till they are ripe ... Lda has really a special and distinctive taste compared to the other figs .

No. No, I can't. I have this crazy image in my head, though, of standing over a row of figs with a bill rolled into a tube in my hand. (I guess I have seen too many movies.)

Wow! Great picture! They look really delicious!
I lost my Longue d' Aout in the big winter polar vortex, so I'm on the search for it again.

One of the members wanted to see another shot of the inside of this fig.
Such a good fig for it's size.

Aik,

I'm not sure why you wouldn't get any breba crop. Do your trees go dormant for long?
I know LdA is known for getting breba. I still have a couple more to pick. Maybe next year:)
