Can you guys tell me if this is a LSU Golden Celeste, or a different LSU variety? Thank you!

Or maybe this is an LSU Improved Celeste! LSU Purple? What do I have?

Not the GC for sure, I have one, the figs are greenish outside

I've been looking at a lot of fig photos today and you're both right about it not being a golden celeste, but I'm leaning towards the LSU IC.

Do you have a photo of the tree and the leaves.
Do you have something to have a scale ? Are those figs big ?

I'll take a photo of the tree when I get home from work! Originally Home Depot sold it to me as a Black Mission. LOL!

Ok..I took some more photos. Now you can see the leaves, and the size of the fig.
What do you guys think?

The red ostiole in the center pic doesn't seem like LSU Purple or Celeste. Is is possible it actually is Black Mission and your heavy rain is keeping it from achieving the depth of color?

I never thought of that. I guess I'll do some more research. Have you seen black missions this color?
