I bought a green ischia from Petals from the Past earlier in the year and it has ripened its first few figs. I forgot to take pictures of the first couple. This one was sweet and tasty but could have used another day. I have been calling this one verte since I got it even though I am not sure if they are the same cultivar.

I should also add that of the four trees that I bought from Petals from the Past all were high quality, very nicely packed, and bargain priced.

Very nice!  Already have Green Ischia from a couple sources and so ordered a couple different varieties from that same nursery just a couple hours ago!

Beautiful fig. Likewise, I purchased a 3-foot tree from an eBay seller, which I received last Friday and can't wait for it to mature.

Green Ischia in my opinion is a nice fig, I have 3 yr olds and a few less than a yr old. All have good growth habits.

I am impressed with the fruit from such a young tree. It makes me want to try Battaglia green next.

I have a couple Battaglia but no fruit, maybe next year. JD and FMD have experienced its taste.

I have both Battaglia and Green Ischia. The latter has only 4-5 figs growing as it was battered by polar vortex and transplantation after the winter. But hopefully I can compare the two!
