This is the first year I taste this fig. A cutting was rooted last year. Excellent taste, 10 out of 10, closed eye. Very sweet berry taste profile with some acidity, my wife’s favorite. Definitely a keeper. This one and a Pastiliere will occupy the sunniest prime spots in my yard, they are so good!

Igor, that is so beautiful! You were kind enough to share 2 cuttings of HdA with me, and both are now just starting growth. I'm very excited about them. Thank you for sharing.

Gary,
Those were from UCD, same as this one. Give them as much sun as you can and the figs will reward you for that! :)

Okay, so now which one is better tasting: the Strawberry Verte or the Hative d'Argenteuil? The Pastilliere isn't bad looking either. You're killing me with those awesome pics, Igor! Congrats.

Don't forget he has the wasp. The rest of us may not get those spectacular results :)

Thank you, everybody!
Yes, the fig is great but you guys are awesome too :)
I would be curious to compare with an HdA from a non-wasp territory.
Is Bob right or not?
