Cannone Dark. I said it last season and it holds true this season. This is a large, dense, thick, and large beefsteak type of fig. It is very good but neither sweet, figgy, berry, nor honey. It has a squat round shape, open cavity, and an eye that is sealed with honey. __________________ jd \| tallahassee.fl \| zone 8b

JD, Thanks for the post and beautiful photo. This looks to be a fig of potential but, being fairly new at this, I'm totally unfamiliar with the name. Is this a readily available or common fig?
