Got this unknown from a N. Georgia member last year with little information.

First ripe fig from is humongous. I let it stay one day too long and it started turning so the taste test was invalidated.

That's one big fig!  It looks really tasty, but I guess it was on the tree too long.  There are many others I see!

You did not get to taste it? Keep a watch on the rest, the eye looks slightly open but it did not split. Any other info?
