Not the best fig in my yard, but one I wouldn't be without. My wife and I gave it an 8 and 7.

I have a serious case of fig envy! All your figs look great. You're only 45 minutes from me. Besides the desert king - I haven't eaten any figs yet!!!

I'm such a novice I'm not sure. They all turned purple for the most part. But they haven't started to swell yet. I'm hoping soon. I take a photo tomorrow and maybe you can give me your advice.

Ironically Art, it is one of my best figs here in Albuquerque. Ate some today. My wife loves them. Mine are solid, meaty, and have a rich taste to them. Give your tree more time and make sure they are really ripe.

Thanks Leon, I couldn't hold out any longer. I do have loads more that are about ripe. LdA is another one that's hard to describe the flavor of.
