This is Maltese Beauty from a single cutting I was fortunate enough to root in Jan 2013. First fig from it started swelling and turning two days ago. Sure hope it makes it. We did have 1.5 inches of rain yesterday.

looking good, Mike. Looks like you have a cluster of figs at the top of the branch. As those figs begin to ripen and swell they will add weight. Might want to consider bracing that little branch with a stick or bamboo to keep it from possibly breaking. Good luck.

Good luck! Yours looks better than mine. I had 2 double in size, turn dark and fall off but they were completely undeveloped inside. That was right after our record cold spell. I hope yours are fantastic.
