My first fig from a 2 year old tree. It started to split a little so I picked it. Very nice, rich taste. I also have Brogiotto Bianco. Unfortunately it dropped all figs the first 2 years. Mother trees are in Italy.

KK,
Thanks for posting these pictures and flavor descriptions. I have a young tree with a couple of fruits. I doubt they will ripen, but will leave them on and see what happens.

Hi Vladis, Is "Brogiotto" the Italian word for "Bourgeassotte" ?

Привет, я не знаю. Различные детские и частные лица в Италии показывают на фото не похожи инжира.

That would be:
"Hi, I do not know. Various children and individuals in Italy show on the photo does not look like figs." From Vladis

Nice looking fig. I used to have this variety, Brogiotto Nero. (Or maybe it was Brogiotto Nero Romano). But it didn't survive one of the past winters. Nice pictures! Mike central NY state, zone 5a

Hi MichaelTucson, How many years did you keep your tree ? Did you get fruits out of it ? Bourjassotte is a laaaate ripening fig . Panache is a bourjassotte . I have one on trial ... For fun .
