Hi
Found this today and wanted to share .
I am not sure this is the cddb we know here since the pulp is yellow. Also the ostiole is quite large .
Maybe kadota?
Looks like a productive farm.
Enjoy all

Wow! Some production! I've never seen figs loose like tomatoes at our grocery stores. Mostly fresh are packed in protective boxes, and kinda old when we see them, which is why I have trees! Suzi

More likely kadota, which is a commercial variety with a relatively thicker skin ...which will better stand up to more handling. :) Thanks for the video - always fun to watch.

Hello Eli! Thanks for sharing this clip. IMO this is a strain of the Kadota, Gota de Miel,..Pingo de Mel, Dottato, etc.. again somebody one day called it Cuello de Dama!.. It's not the CDDB as most people in the forumm use to talk about Very productive, giving excellent fruit for the table as well as to dry. Its eye is always above average, yellowish, and the pulp very sweet and flavored..honey! Probably a Brix champion! On the short film it is mentioned that it starts producing in July and goes all the way through October. A few strains may commence production in June (brebas and goes non-stop through October. If given a chance to be caprificated makes it a fruit from the Heaven, bigger, very syrupy and with a redish full pulp. francisco Portugal
