I've been gone from the forum for a while, but have really missed it. Life has been so hectic. I never thought that its almost June & I still have twigs in the fridge! Not happy to admit that one. I started some seeds for the garden, but with all the rain I think they will die soon. With surgeries and kids in school and overtime at work, I just haven't had any time which makes me really sad because gardening and figs calm my soul. Anyways, I was able to get some cuttings going a few weeks ago. Since I have been sooo short on time, I just decided to put some peat moss & the white stuff in plastic shoe boxes & let them be. Almost everything has rooted that I put in! Hi jenn42, Especially this time of the year, do it my way : plant the sticks direct in dirt. Water the area as you water the lettuce, pumpkins, cucumber, garden peas and tomatoes. And let grow . This time of the year is a busy one in the garden for sure . I really need to find a strain that makes more brebas. Brebas are scarce on most of mine, especially on my ufti strain.I have one tree which mothers used to drop ... Hoping she will keep them. Hopefully, the main crop will be able to ripen on most as last year. Ho well, we'll see ! Keep it positive, and check in when you have time ! ... But water the fig trees first ! __________________ ------------------------ Climate from -25°C to + 35°C Only cold hardy figtrees can make it here

Welcome back. Hope we are heading out of this weather cycle. Out there around you it seems that you live with drought or floods and very little in between, we don't get the floods too often but we get the deluge, soaking rain and everything drowns because there isn't any time for drying out.
