After reading comments of the various LSU figs I was thinking of ordering a few different varieties for next spring. However most of the reviews come from warmer regions and I wasn't quite sure which varieties would do best here with a shorter growing season. I was thinking O'Rourke and Champagne might work but others such such as LSU Black, Scott's Black, LSU Purple, Tiger etc might require a longer growing season. Can anyone provide feedback. John

LSU Scott's Black ,O'Rourke and LSU Tiger are doing well for me here in central NH. For me Scott's Black is the favorite of this group ,Tiger is very good and I like the size , I like O'Rourke better than Improved Celeste so far. Scott's Black is the best producer for me as well as best tasting. I have an extra LSU Purple if you want to come pick it up. I haven't had the space to give it a bigger pot or great position , so no fruit info so far.
