Hopefully someone will answer my question. A friend from work knows how much my wife and I love figs and he gave us a few. He really doesn't know anything about figs or the origin of the tree but I'm guessing it's a Brown Turkey. He picked about a dozen figs that weren't completely ripe but edible and I noticed a few had a brownish color on the inside, almost dry looking. Is this because they weren't ripe enough? Hopefully the pic has enough detail.

hi,
show us inside and outside of 2 or 3 fruits to see the main characteristics.
But, so far NOT BT .
Especially since the brebas on BT are pear-shaped and redish .

Now that I took more out of the bag I see that some are kinda hard on the neck and not ripe.
